Despite the impression that Hollywood is a glamorous and glitzy place, even the biggest stars are unable to escape its dark side. Jasveen Sangha, a 41-year-old living in North Hollywood who managed to stay under the radar—until she didn’t.

The ‘Ketamine Queen’ And Her Drug Empire

Jasveen Sangha didn’t get the nickname ‘Ketamine Queen‘ for nothing. She’s accused of running a drug operation out of her North Hollywood home that would make even the most seasoned criminals raise an eyebrow. According to a federal indictment, her home wasn’t just a place to kick back and relax—it was a full-blown ‘drug-selling emporium, ‘complete with methamphetamine, cocaine, and prescription drugs like Xanax. Can you imagine that?

Federal authorities had their eyes on Sangha for a while. Her operation, which dates back to at least June 2019, had been on their radar long before Perry’s death. Things came to a head in March when she was busted for selling methamphetamine in an unrelated case. During the raid, agents discovered 79 bottles of liquid ketamine and nearly 2,000 meth pills. Yup, that’s right—79 bottles!

Now, here’s where things get even darker. Jasveen Sangha’s illegal activities took a fatal turn when she allegedly provided the ketamine that led to Matthew Perry’s death on October 28th last year. Investigators claim that Perry, who had been battling addiction for years, obtained the deadly dose of ketamine through a broker named Eric Fleming. Fleming, in turn, sourced the drug from Sangha.

According to court documents, Sangha didn’t just hand over a small batch. She supplied Fleming with 50 vials of ketamine in two separate deals in the weeks leading up to Perry’s death. Perry first sampled the drug on October 13, and Fleming delivered two large batches to his home on October 14 and October 24. And get this—Sangha even threw in ‘ketamine lollipops‘ as a bonus.
