‘The Punisher‘ star Jon Bernthal has been married to Erin Angle since September 2010. They both met each other for the first time in 2000. They dated for many years before getting married. Angle is a trauma nurse. She is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and also has a Master’s in Anesthesiology from the University of Southern California in 2008. She is the niece of famous WWE wrestler Kurt Angle who also competed in the 1996 Olympic Games.
Bernthal has often described his wife as the rock of their family. He describes her as the tough and stable person in his family who understands him and is always by his side. He also shared an incident when Willie Nelson was the reason for his and his wife’s patching up.

Jon Bernthal and Erin Angle have three kids and the family lives in Ojai, California. Their first son, Henry was born in August 2011, followed by a second son, named Billy in January 2013. They also welcomed a daughter, Adeline in February 2015.
Bernthal has been very vocal about the time when their daughter Adeline slipped into a coma in 2017. Just before shooting the movie ‘First Man‘, Adeline had a seizure and had encephalitis due to which she slipped into a coma. Adeline got out of the coma after three days and recovered fully after a few days. Bernthal commends his wife for being the most resilient being during the difficult time they faced with Adeline’s health. He accredits his wife for not flinching even during the worst days and for keeping the family together during hard times.
