How would you feel to act with your celebrity crush on screen, that too in an intimate scene? Then that’s exactly what happened to Jake Gyllenhaal. Hailing from a family closely related to the film industry, the ‘Donnie Darko’ actor has been in this career since the age of 11. And it was in 2002 that Gyllenhaal got the chance to act with Jennifer Aniston in ‘The Good Girl’.
Jennifer Aniston is an iconic Hollywood actress, who has been part of the movie industry since 1987. She has shared the screen with countless actors and actresses giving outstanding performances. But her ‘The Good Girl’ co-star Jake Gyllenhaal described the love scenes with Aniston as ‘torture’ and here’s why.

Jake Gyllenhaal And Jennifer Aniston In ‘The Good Girl’
‘The Good Girl’ revolves around Justine (Jennifer Aniston), who has been leading a very monotonous life. Justine is dissatisfied with her routine life and dead-end jobs. That’s when she notices her co-worker Holden (Jake Gyllenhaal) who is also experiencing an identical situation. Finally, the two connect passionately and begin an affair.
Working in this movie with Aniston, Gyllenhaal said that he felt “awkward” while filming sex scenes and he described the whole experience as torture. “It was torture, yes it was, but it was also not torture. I mean, come on. It was like a mix of both,” the ‘Brokeback Mountain’ actor confessed on The Howard Stern Show.
The whole awkwardness of the situation was because Jake Gyllenhaal had a huge crush on the ‘Friends’ actress Jennifer Aniston. This is what made the intimate scenes difficult to film.

Gyllenhaal And Aniston Filming The Intimate Scenes
The ‘Prisoners’ actor also opened up about the way the two did their intimate scenes on the set. “Weirdly, love scenes are awkward because there are maybe 30, 50 people watching. That doesn’t turn me on. Most of the time, it’s oddly mechanical, right? And also it’s a dance, like, you choreograph it for a camera,” the 42-year-old explained his embarrassment.
“It’s one of those like a fight scene, you gotta choreograph those things and I always have tried,” he added. On Jennifer Aniston’s suggestion, the duo used a pillow in order to make their bedroom scenes more comfortable. This is how the intimate scenes with Aniston turned out to be a ‘torture’ for Gyllenhaal as he acted with his biggest crush.
