Does Sydney Sweeney And Her Family Support Pro-Trump Ideals?
Sydney Sweeney, on her mother’s 60th birthday, celebrated with a hoe-down-themed party. Some of her relatives in the photos wore MAGA-themed hats and shirts. Twitter lashed out against her for allegedly being a Trump supporter. MAGA is a campaign started by Trump during his 2016-2020 elections. MAGA stands for ‘Make America Great Again‘.
She tactfully ignored the pictures that had MAGA-themed hats or shirts on them and posted pictures of a happy celebration. However, the internet has lurked on her brother’s social media account, wherein he had posted pictures of Sweeney and guests wearing the controversial shirts and hats.

Sydney Sweeney’s Reaction To Twitter Backlash
Sweeney’s brother Trent Sweeney’s pictures that were posted on his social media had people wearing “Blue Lives Matter” T-shirts, reported People. There were other photos that showed guests wearing parody MAGA hats, printed with: “Make Sixty Great Again.” This has stirred quite a bit of talk on Twitter and Instagram.
The Euphoria actress finally broke her silence by posting a tweet stating that the situation on the internet was “wild”. She stated that the celebration was innocent and that the internet has turned it into a “political statement”. She also urged everyone to stop making assumptions. It is understandable why she did not post these photos on her account directly, owing to how Hollywood has been against Trump for a long time. Although, a person commented on her tweet, “Then you should’ve selected other pictures to post that wouldn’t be left up to interpretation in this manner. Lesson learned for you, I ‘assume.'”
