    The ‘American Beauty‘ actor has multiple charges of sexual assault against him in the United Kingdom. Amid all this, Spacey has been honored in the neighboring country of Italy.

    According to The Hollywood Reporter, the National Museum of Cinema in Turin, Italy paid tribute to the disgraced actor. He was presented with its highest honor, the Stella della Mole Award for lifetime achievement.

    The award was presented to him by Enzo Ghigo, president of the National Museum, and Vittorio Sgarbi, Undersecretary to the Italian Ministry of Culture. “The one living through cinema is an immortal man, and it is precisely him that we are awarding this prize to tonight,” Sgarbi said. There were no mentions of charges against the actor.

    In late 2022, Spacey won the $40 million lawsuit from actor Anthony Rapp after the jury found Spacey not guilty of the assault charges that date back to when Rapp was a minor.

    Despite the legal troubles, he got a voice role in an upcoming British independent thriller. Titled ‘Control‘. He also acted in Franco Nero’s ‘The Man Who Drew God’ and is the lead role of Gore Vidal in Michael Hoffman’s ‘Gore’.

    He remains on unconditional bail until his trial starts in the U.K. later on. It allows him to travel freely in and out of the country.
