Britney Spears has been going through a tough time as she parted ways with her husband Sam Ashgari recently. Many celebrities have been reaching out to the artist trying to raise her spirits. The ‘Material Girl‘ singer Madonna is hoping that the pop star Britney Spears will be able to join her on stage.
Spears has a lot scheduled for the year ahead. Her memoir titled ‘The Women In Me’ will be coming out on October 24. The ‘Gimme More‘ singer had earlier collaborated with Elton John for a single in 2022. Spears had her last album ‘Glory‘ come out in 2016.
Madonna Wants Britney Spears To Join Her On Stage
Sources have told Page Six that Madonna is hoping to get the pop star Britney Spears to share a stage with her for her upcoming tour. The ‘Like A Virgin‘ singer wants her long-time friend to appear on stage with her for one of the five Los Angeles dates in March next year.
“Madonna originally wanted Britney to join her on tour this year. Everything was pushed back because of her illness, but she still wants Britney to join her at the Kia Forum,” a source informed Page Six. Madonna had been hospitalized in June, which led her to change the dates of her tour.

Britney Spears Last Performed In 2008
The pop superstars, Britney Spears and Madonna share the same agent. And Madonna had even been a part of Britney Spears’ ill-fated wedding to Sam Asghari in 2022. The duo had duetted on Vogue that day. Madonna also wants to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her collaboration with the 41-year-old singer, ‘Me Against the Music’ which came out in 2003.
The singers had given an infamous performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in August 2003. Madonna had kissed Spears and Christina Aguilera at the performance. If Spears joins Madonna on stage it will be after 15 years that Spears is performing on stage. She last appeared at Madge’s Sticky & Sweet Tour in November 2008.
