Superhero fans have always debated who would beat the other in a fight. This time the fight is between Homelander and Superman. They are absolute opposites to each other. Antony Starr thinks that Homelander can easily beat Superman.
Homelander is not your typical superhero though. He plays it dirty and has very little moral high ground. On the other hand, Superman is the absolute epitome of truth and justice.
Why Does Antony Starr Think Homelander Can Beat Superman?
Homelander is one of the main antagonists of ‘The Boys’. He is portrayed by Antony Starr who in a recent interview said that Homelander would definitely win against Superman. In the interview with Screen Rant, Starr said, “There’s no Kryptonite factor, and Homie would fight so dirty. He’s the [type to go], ‘Oh, you got me!’ as he goes down and then comes up and throws sand in your eyes. He’s a dirty dude, man. Whereas Superman is always like, ‘Oh, I wouldn’t do that. Oh, there’s innocent children that might get hurt.’ Homie’s going to human shield himself with the kids.”
He is definitely not wrong. Homelander is a maniacal villain who would go all in and use any means to win the fight. He would make full use of kryptonite against Superman to his advantage. Both Superman and Homelander share similar powers like heat vision, super strength, durability, flight, super hearing, X-ray vision and so on.
