Brooke Hogan says her regret over removing herself from her late father Hulk Hogan’s will has nothing to do with money, but rather with losing any ability to influence how his legacy is managed following his death.
Hulk Hogan passed away in July 2025 at the age of 71 due to a heart attack. He left behind an estate valued at nearly $5 million, which is reportedly being overseen by his son Nick Hogan and his widow, Sky Daily.
Speaking exclusively to Page Six while promoting her wine brand House of Stars, Brooke explained that her earlier decision to step away from the will was made for personal reasons, but has since taken on a different meaning in the wake of her father’s passing.
The 37-year-old said, “I think everybody very clearly understands that I was my dad’s protector and I loved him more than anything. The reason why I regret it, is because I do not have a place now to get answers.”
She added that she is now unable to intervene in decisions involving the estate or seek clarity about matters tied to her father’s legacy.
“I can’t do anything to help my dad after his death, or to find out answers, or to avenge him in any way, shape, or form, because the people that I so badly wanted to get away from are now running the show, which is even more of a nightmare,” she said.
Brooke noted that the current situation is not what she anticipated when she initially chose to remove herself from the will. She added, “I didn’t think after the fact, this is who was going to be in control. The people that I didn’t trust are now all controlling it, and it’s terrible.”
She had previously not been surprised by her father’s decision to leave her out of the will. “His decision is no surprise to me,” she told TMZ at the time. “It’s what I asked for, I stand by it with no regrets.”
Despite that stance, Brooke emphasized that her concerns now center on preserving how her father is remembered, rather than any financial stake.

“It’s not about money. It’s about doing the right thing and making sure that [Hulk] is represented in the correct ways, and his legacy lives on in the most positive way,” she said.
Hogan concluded with, “So, you know, there are things I would definitely be doing differently if I were back in that seat.” She also addressed criticism of her remarks, saying they had been misinterpreted.
Brooke Hogan Details Frustration Over Personal Keepsakes After Father’s Death

Brooke Hogan also described ongoing frustration over receiving limited personal belongings of her father after his death, saying the process has felt dismissive. She revealed requesting items with emotional value, including a cross her father regularly wore.
“I asked for a couple things of my dad’s. I asked my brother if I could have one of his crosses he wore,” she said. “And it was like, ‘Here’s a pair of flip-flops and a couple T-shirts he never wore,’ you know? So I had to go back and ask again.”
“It’s feeling more like a slap in the face as each day goes by,” she added. Brooke said she remains distant from parts of her family and is not currently open to reconciliation. She also said she is focused on reflecting on her upbringing and stepping away from ongoing conflict.
She continues to work on her music career, promote her wine brand House of Stars, and appear on HGTV’s Rock The Block. She is also raising her 1-year-old twins, Oliver and Molly, with husband Steven Oleksy.
