Jaden Ivey and his wife, Caitlyn Ivey, are presenting a united front weeks after a public disagreement that drew widespread attention.
In a joint Instagram post shared in late April, the couple posed together smiling. The caption featured a Bible verse: “Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, And obtaineth favour of the LORD,” referencing Proverbs 18:22.
The post marks a notable change from late March, when the 24-year-old guard publicly criticized Caitlyn during a livestream. At the time, Ivey said she was not “texting (him) back” following his release from the Chicago Bulls. The team had waived him for “conduct detrimental to the team” after backlash to his comments about Pride Month.
Caitlyn responded days later on social media, disputing his claim. “If you know me, you know I have never once abandoned that man through all the trials … and I still haven’t now,” she wrote. “There is obviously a lot more going on, so leave your conspiracies and guesses to yourselves.”
The couple, who married in 2022, appeared to be at odds during the public exchange. Their latest post shows them together and smiling, signaling a shift in tone after weeks of scrutiny.
