We can see the animated version of Superman looking at Black Adam. The Rock wrote, “THANK YOU for making SUPER PETS the #1 MOVIE… but did you stay til the VERY END credits”
He added, “You guys already know how I feel about SUPERMAN vs BLACK ADAM. The Indestructible Force meets the Immovable Object.”
The Rock mentioned that they have major plans to build out Black Adam DC Universe. He said, “SUPER PETS & BLACK ADAM is just the beginning.”
Dwayne Johnson Praises Henry Cavill’s Superman
At the Comic-Con, The Rock was asked about who would win if Superman and Black Adam fight. He replied, “Pound for pound, they’re pretty close. I guess it probably all depends on who is playing Superman; I’m just going to say that. I’ll leave it at that.”
His statement suggested that the role of Superman is open and Henry Cavill will not be continuing the role. As a result, the crowd booed at Johnson’s response.
Johnson was later asked the same question by the media. He gave a politically correct answer with no clarity. “I will say that Henry is a buddy and he is a phenomenal Superman and Henry Cavill is the Superman of our generation.”
The 50-year-old actor concluded, “The reason why I say all that because you got a lot of people who advocate on Henry’s behalf and root for him to win and I do root for him to win. And I do root for him to win. And at the end of the day, he is a phenomenal Superman.”
