In an unexpected turn of events, legendary Wonder Woman actress Lynda Carter and The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke have joined forces. The two jokingly pitched a crossover event between the iconic DC superhero and the hit Amazon Prime series.
They took the opportunity to endorse Kamala Harris’ Presidential campaign. Additionally, Kripke had previously also confirmed that Homelander, the antagonist of ‘The Boys‘ was inspired by Donald Trump.
Lynda Carter And Eric Kripke Join Forces To Support Kamala Harris’s Campaign
Carter, who played the iconic role of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman from 1975 to 1979, recently took to X to rally support for Harris. Additionally, she called upon the “Geeks and Nerds” to join forces. “I’m putting out the bat signal for a special meeting, we’re assembling to avenge our rights..,” she wrote on X.
Kripke responded with a proposal for a crossover event that would bring together the worlds of Wonder Woman, The Boys, and Supernatural. “I’m in,” he wrote. “I created #Supernatural & the TV version of #TheBoys. It’s the Sam/Dean/Castiel/Wonder Woman/Homelander crossover we didn’t know we needed,” he replied.
Additionally, the idea may seem far-fetched. However, with the popularity of the show and Wonder Woman, Harris’ campaign would prosper. Kripke’s admission that The Boys’ corrupt superhero Homelander was always intended as a Trump analogue further highlighted his support for Kamala. Moreover, as the 2024 Presidential Election approaches, it will be interesting to see how other creators and fans use their platforms to make their voices heard.

Why Homelander And Donald Trump Get Compared
The character of Homelander in ‘The Boys’ series bears striking similarities to former President Donald Trump. So much so that the series even predicted the assassination attempt on him. Moreover, Both exhibit extreme narcissism, unbridled ambition, and a craving for adoration and power.
They perceive themselves as victims despite their privilege, resonating with certain segments of the population. Homelander and Trump manipulate public perception and use social media platforms to shape their narrative. Moreover, their actions are driven by a hunger for attention and control, often prioritizing their image over the greater good. Additionally, this victim mentality and ability to manipulate public opinion are eerily similar.
