‘Avengers: Endgame’ may be getting more than a simple return to theaters. According to reported descriptions of the ‘Endgame: Encore’ post-credit material, Marvel has added several scenes that connect the film directly to the events leading into ‘Avengers: Doomsday’.
The reported footage sounds surprisingly substantial, especially because it appears to revisit some of the MCU’s most important characters and moments.
Loki Visits Steve, While Doom Comes for Hulk
One of the reported scenes takes place during Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter’s reunion. Steve briefly hides as Peggy answers a knock at the door. She asks, “Can I help you?” before Loki’s voice responds, “No, but I can help you.”

Loki then enters and says, “Both of you,” before Steve emerges from hiding. The scene reportedly has a slightly different visual style, with heavier film grain and altered color grading, suggesting it may have been filmed or presented separately from the original ‘Endgame’ footage.
Another sequence reportedly involves Bruce Banner recording a video log about his gamma-radiation experiments. The lights suddenly flicker, and Doctor Doom appears just outside the camera’s view. “I’ve come to collect you,” Doom reportedly says.
Banner then appears to transform, with the camera falling and revealing Latverian symbols burned into the ground. That is a pretty wild way to introduce Doom.
The TVA Sees The Multiverse Falling Apart
The reported TVA sequence may be even more important for the larger MCU story. Several familiar TVA characters from Loki reportedly gather around a monitor after detecting an incursion. Mobius questions why their forecasting system failed to warn them. Then more incursions begin appearing.

Someone reportedly says there are 300. Another corrects them: 3,000. That little exchange could make the scale of the coming multiversal crisis feel enormous. Finally, the reported ‘Encore’ material allegedly ends with a new stinger.
It begins with the familiar sound of Tony Stark hammering together his armor in the cave, echoing the opening of his original MCU journey. But instead of ending on the familiar image from Iron Man, the shot reportedly cuts to a close-up of the mask with a different face inside.
If accurate, these scenes would turn an ‘Endgame’ re-release into something much more consequential. Rather than simply celebrating the MCU’s past, Marvel would be using it to quietly point toward its next major chapter.
