‘Daredevil: Born Again’ season 2 ended with several big storylines, but the finale also subtly introduced a new potential threat for the man without fear that could be the most psychologically disturbing threat yet.
Another character’s metamorphosis could leave an even bigger mark on Matt Murdock’s life, even after Wilson Fisk is finally beaten and sent into exile. And Heather Glenn will be behind that.
Heather Glenn’s Fall Feels More Personal Than Kingpin Ever Did

As the season continued, Heather gradually unraveled from the terrifying experience she had with Muse. Initially, her trauma was a plausible emotional reaction to her near-murder. However, by the end of the story, it was evident that there was something sinister going on under the surface.

With the last shot of Heather wearing Muse’s mask, the series takes a dramatic turn for the rest of the series. Heather’s ability to pose a threat to Daredevil may not be through physical strength, like with Fisk or Bullseye. Instead, it might be her lack of personal knowledge about Matt Murdock.
As season 2 progressed, Heather became more and more unstable. She began to suppress her emotions and was politically on Fisk’s side, with extremely violent private moments. It’s obvious that the PTSD that she suffered from Muse’s attack never went away; in fact, it appears she took it hard, and it began to consume her identity.
This twist is so disturbing because Heather isn’t just mimicking Muse’s style. She seems to be making his ideology more personal and emotional. Heather has the answers to all of Matt’s secrets, which he was trying to keep for years, since he admitted he was Daredevil in the finale.
But having endured all that, she might well suspect that the city’s corruption stems from the vigilantes. That creates a villain who can attack Matt psychologically instead of physically, and honestly, that’s often where Daredevil stories hit hardest.
‘Born Again’ Season 3 Could Deliver A Totally New Kind Of MCU Villain

The original Muse was terrifying due to his brutality. However, Heather’s version might be even more unpredictable. She is a trained psychiatrist and can manipulate, traumatize, and pressure most MCU villains with ease.

Photos from ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ season 3 already show that the character will get a new design. And it looked similar to that of Lady Muse from Marvel Comics, with a slightly different outfit and shorter hair. However, the larger shift seems to be in terms of theme.
This new Muse might not be looking for chaos just for the sake of art. She might be looking for revenge, control, and a skewed form of justice. That makes her arrival feel like a real threat after the emotional devastation of season 2.
