However, Stan is known as the backbone of the whole Marvel Universe. A book titled ‘True Believer: The Rise and Fall of Stan Lee‘ by Abraham Riesman talks about it. He argues that Lee just always said to people that he is the creator of Marvel.
He points out that there is no proper and authenticated document that can prove this. People believed Lee to be a good seller, and maybe that’s why he is famous as the creator of Marvel. But as we and the whole world know, Lee is the creator of the Marvel Universe.

First Superhero Created By Lee
The first superhero by Lee was called ‘The Destroyer’. Experts believe that he was in a way, an earlier version of Captain America. The Destroyer first came in the year 1941 in the comic Mystic Comics #6.
In the story, he works as a journalist and his name is Kevin Marlow. He goes to Germany where he is caught and tortured by the Nazis. But in the end, a scientist finds him and gives him the super-soldier serum.
Many people believe that the origin of many other superheroes came from the Destroyer like Iron Man, Drax, Captain America, etc. Lee’s second superhero was Johnny Storm, also known as the Human Torch He is known as the first and founding superhero of the team Fantastic Four.
