Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch And Robert Downey Jr’s Doctor Doom Might Team Up For ‘Avengers: Doomsday’

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is gearing up for its next epic saga, ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’. While many details about these films remain shrouded in mystery, recent rumors suggest a surprising team-up.

A team up with two of the most powerful villains: Doctor Doom and Scarlet Witch. Both characters are driven by a thirst for power and knowledge. So, their alliance could have devastating consequences for the universe.

Industry insider Grace Randolph, while talking to Behind the Scenes, has hinted that Elizabeth Olsen‘s Scarlet Witch may return to the MCU, possibly alongside Robert Downey Jr.‘s Doctor Doom. This unexpected pairing could lead to a compelling and morally ambiguous storyline.

Wanda Maximoff has undergone significant character development in recent years. From a grieving mother to a powerful sorceress, Wanda has experienced both triumph and tragedy. Moreover, her immense power, coupled with her unstable mental state, makes her a complex and fascinating figure.

Olsen herself has expressed interest in reprising the role, suggesting that there are still untapped possibilities for the character. “If there’s a good way to use her, I’m always happy to come back,” she said in a previous interview. So, a potential team-up between Wanda and Doctor Doom could be a game-changer for the MCU.

Another rumor on the horizon is about the Young Avengers films. The Young Avengers could be integrated into the main MCU storyline, perhaps as trainees under the guidance of established heroes like Doctor Strange or the Avengers.

Wiccan, in particular, seems ready to take on a more significant role after ‘Agatha All Along’. His immense power and connection to the multiverse make him a valuable asset to the Avengers. Moreover, a potential conflict between Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch could provide the perfect opportunity for Wiccan to step up and prove himself.

The return of Agatha Harkness as a ghost could add a unique dynamic to the story. Her wisdom and experience could be invaluable to Billy, especially as he navigates the complexities of his powers. A show instead of a movie would allow for more organic character development and exciting team-ups.
