Marvel may have quietly linked Hulk and Spider-Man through one strange detail that keeps appearing whenever mysterious forces target someone. If this theory is true, then the glitches witnessed around Wanda, Bruce Banner, and Peter Parker could be clues that Doctor Doom is collecting the people responsible for the MCU’s multiversal collapse.

The Glitch May Be Doom’s Sign

The concept is particularly intriguing when considering the circumstances of these moments. They may appear as basic visual effects, but Marvel has a knack for embedding important clues in seemingly insignificant details. These glitches could give away much more than they seem to, if they are linked together.

Before using her magic, Wanda Maximoff makes Christine Palmer’s computer glitch in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’. Later, ‘Endgame Encore’ has Bruce Banner suffering from a similar computer malfunction when Doom shows up.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ seems to repeat the trend. Peter’s Spider-Tracker malfunctions just before he goes off-world. Individually, none of these moments necessarily means anything. When combined, however, the repetition starts to be hard to miss.

One theory is that the glitches result from someone using magic or high tech to find, manipulate, or move their targets. And when Doctor Doom is involved, the targeting of the victims becomes a lot more understandable.

Bruce and Peter are not just any heroes in the multiverse. Peter also played an active role in the events of ‘No Way Home’, when he tried to forget his identity and failed, leading to the intrusion of villains from other universes into his own.

Meanwhile, Bruce joined the Avengers’ time-travel mission in ‘Endgame’, even though he knew that time-traveling could create branching timelines. In the end, his actions were part of a mission to save all of them, but the repercussions of playing with time are still important.

Both men would be on Doom’s list if he’s trying to figure out who’s involved in the fall of the multiverse. That is why this theory is so disturbing. Maybe Doom isn’t just assembling an army. Maybe he’s actively gathering the individuals who helped to shatter reality in the first place. If those glitches are indeed linked, then Marvel might already be demonstrating how the Doom collection will work.
