Reflecting on that experience, Jackman joked that actors often deny future projects on talk shows, only to return when the right opportunity comes along. “Maybe. I am never saying ‘never’ ever again… But I did mean it when I said ‘never’ the first time, until the day when I changed my mind. But I really did for quite a few years; I meant it.”
Those comments now have even more weight. Jackman previously said that the door wouldn’t close fully. Now, his new comment implies that ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ will be the final chapter of his Wolverine story.
