Peter Finds Out He Was Fighting The Wrong Person

The real villains were William Metzger and Damage Control all along, and Jean was simply trying to save her sister.
Peter follows Jean to a hidden Damage Control facility, where the heartbreaking truth finally comes out. Sara Grey, Jean’s younger sister, had been locked away for years and used in dangerous psychic experiments before she eventually died.
Throughout the movie, Jean keeps searching for something called “V-Max,” believing it will lead her to Sara. Instead, she discovers it was never a secret location. It was simply the “Vents Max” logo printed inside the prison where Sara spent her final days. Suddenly, everything clicks, and Jean realizes her sister’s last psychic message had been trying to show her where she was all along.
The loss completely breaks Jean. She unleashes her full Omega-level mutant powers and freezes thousands of people across New York while Peter fights through the Hand and finally masters his upgraded Spider-Man abilities.
Instead of throwing one last punch, Peter makes a much smarter move. He lets Jean enter his mind and shows her a memory of Aunt May. Her words remind Jean that she’s still worthy of love, even after everything she’s lost.

Peter Makes His Biggest Hero Move Yet in ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’
Just when things finally seem under control, the Punisher decides to do what the Punisher always does. Seeing Jean as an unstoppable threat, Frank Castle fires a sniper shot straight at her.
Peter’s Spider-Sense kicks in instantly, and without thinking twice, he jumps in front of the bullet. It’s one of the biggest hero moments Tom Holland’s Spider-Man has ever had. As Peter bleeds out, Jean uses her psychic powers to keep him alive long enough for Punisher to rush him to the hospital.
Thankfully, Peter survives. When he wakes up, he finds Spider-Man fans gathered outside the hospital cheering for him. After spending most of the movie feeling completely alone, he finally realizes people genuinely care about him. Then comes another emotional win.
Peter bumps into Ned and finally gets the courage to approach him. He starts their iconic ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming‘ handshake, and Ned instinctively finishes it. Whether the handshake restores his memories or simply helps him connect all the dots, the result is the same. Ned figures out Peter is Spider-Man again. The Post-Credits Scene Teases Marvel’s Next Big Event
Yes, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day‘ has a post-credits scene, and you’ll need to stay until the very last second to see it. There’s no mid-credits surprise this time. Marvel saves everything for the end.
The scene starts with Ned’s Spider-Man tracker detecting Spidey somewhere in New York City. At first, everything seems normal. Then the signal starts moving farther and farther away. The tracker glitches, struggles to lock onto the location, and eventually points somewhere in outer space. Another interpretation of the scene suggests the app briefly detects two different Spider-Man signals at the same time, making the mystery even bigger.
Marvel never explains exactly what’s happening, which is why fans are already cooking up theories. The biggest one is that the tracker is pointing toward Battleworld, Doctor Doom’s reality built from the remains of the multiverse during ‘Secret Wars‘.
