Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created the Marvel supervillain known as Kang the Conqueror. His ability to simultaneously see the past, present, and future is what gives him much power. Storytelling relies heavily on antagonists such as Thanos and Kang. Although Thanos appeared in the Infinity Saga, more development is necessary for Kang to become a formidable foe. Kang, portrayed by Jonathan Majors, made an appearance in ‘Ant Man and The Wasp: Quantomania in 2023. However, following Majors’ conviction for harassment and assault for which he was found guilty, Marvel Studios severed their ties.
Since Kang will continue to appear in multiple MCU ventures, who will take on the role going forward? According to adamant rumors, Colman Domingo might take up the role and he’d “be down” to take it up.

Colman Domingo Says He’d ” Be Down” To Play Kang
Colman Domingo played an antagonist in AMC’s ‘Fear the Walking Dead’, so playing a role like the villainous Kang wouldn’t be too difficult for him. During a recent interview with Vanity Fair, he mentioned that his team could’ve had an exchange with Marvel. He revealed, “Do I know this to be true or not? I actually don’t know. I feel like my team doesn’t bring me something unless it’s real. So, I don’t know.”
He added, “I could be in conversation, but I’m not sure. I would welcome a conversation around it.”
Domingo even talked about Jonathan Majors saying,” Whatever they’re working out with Jonathan Majors and his legacy in the MCU, I feel like I just have to be in my own lane, whatever that is.”
The actor continued, “There’s hearsay, there’s conversations, but I’m not even sure because I feel like nothing comes to me until something’s real. But I’d be down with it.”
