Ben Mendelsohn Wants To Play Doctor Doom In Upcoming Marvel Projects
The actor made his MCU debut as Talos in ‘Captain Marvel‘ and reprised his role in ‘Secret Invasion‘. However, in the Phase Five series, Talos was by killed Gravik in front of Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury. Dissatisfied with his role, Ben Mendelsohn believes that his character deserves better, and wants to be re-casted in the franchise.
During an interview with GQ Magazine, the ‘Ready Player One‘ actor said, “I would almost give my eyes and teeth to play Doctor Doom. I think Doctor Doom is the great unread Marvel character that could and should be done.”

Fans Get A Disappointing Update About Doctor Doom
As the fans rejoiced at the cast of Marvel’s first family, MCU dropped a heartbreaking update about Doctor Doom in ‘Fantastic Four‘. As Doctor Doom is the Fantastic Four’s arch-nemesis, fans expected the villain will finally appear along with the new cast.
However, there are rumors that not Doctor Doom, but Galactus will be the antagonist. Also according to the reports by Variety, Doctor Doom is still yet to be cast. As the character made an appearance in all three of Fox’s live-action films, it will be disappointing if the attention is shifted to Galactus, completely neglecting Doctor Doom.
