Michaela shared a picture on Instagram on April 13 where she was seen in the outfit of Psylocke, also known as Betsy Braddock in Marvel Comics. She is a member of X-Men. The caption stated, “Rep. As fans witnessed the post, they speculated that Michaela might play the role in an upcoming ‘X-Men‘ movie. The character has been previously portrayed by Meiling Melancon and Olivia Munn.

Michaela Jaé Rodriguez started her career by appearing in several stage plays. She made her television debut with the Showtime medical comedy-drama series, ‘Nurse Jackie.’ Michaela has appeared as Blanca Rodriguez-Evangelista in the popular drama series, ‘Pose.’ She now appears as Sofia Salinas in the comedy series, ‘Loot’, which airs on Apple TV+.
She has played minor roles in other TV shows like ‘The Carrie Diaries’, ‘Luke Cage’, ‘A Black Lady Sketch Show’, and ‘Dead End: Paranormal Park.’ The 32-year-old has also been a cast member of films like ‘Saturday Church’, ‘Adam’, ‘Tick, Tick… Boom!’, and more.
