It also marked the first appearance of Adam Warlock, the cosmic entity, and also by the end of the film put up Rocket Raccoon is in a prominent role, revealing that he was indeed the secret protagonist of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’.
Throughout the journey of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy,’ the fans couldn’t stop obsessing over Rocket Raccoon and Groot’s friendship. Voiced by Vin Diesel, Groot instantly became the viewer’s favorite character. James Gunn Debunks Rumors Of Vin Diesel’s Pay For “I am Groot” Dialogue
Groot was introduced by James Gunn in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1’ when he was first voiced by Vin Diesel. The actor did a memorable job by bringing alive a cute fictional character in just three words. And now it has been a decade since then he started appearing as Groot in multiple projects including ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and a standalone special series. Although the question that keeps bothering the fans is how much Diesel got paid for just three words.
A Twitter user decided to ask Gunn regarding Diesel’s paycheck for voicing Groot in ‘The Guardians Of The Galaxy’ movies. They referred to a rumor going around about him earning $54 million for the three movies, which makes for a hefty cheque of $13 million per film. And James Gunn being James Gunn who almost takes all fan questions seriously answered them saying “Not true” with a laughing emoji.

The Cast Of ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Is Loyal To James Gunn
James Gunn’s willingness to experiment on the set has won him the loyalty of the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’s cast. This came forward after he was temporarily removed from the project. In 2018 the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ ensemble intended to quit after Marvel Studios fired Gunn.
Karen Gillian who played the role of Nebula said in an interview, “All of us were on the same page: we didn’t really want to do it without him. However, the cast ultimately wasn’t forced to take such drastic action”, however lucky for them Marvel Studios reinstated James Gunn the following year.
