Comic book fans went crazy when the ‘Fantastic Four‘ was announced through a poster on Valentine’s Day. The movie is going to be a period film with various actors including Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and more. The film’s shooting shall start in July and the cast is already enjoying each other’s company.
Joseph Quinn who’s playing the role of Human Torch, gave a few updates related to the upcoming movie. He talked about his friendship with Ben Grimm and shared his excitement while working with him. Here’s what the actor said.
Joseph Quinn On His Friendship With Ebon Moss Bachrach
Joseph Quinn talked about the upcoming ‘Fantastic Four‘ and shared many updates. He also dished on his friendship with cast members such as Ebon Moss Bachrach with Men’s Health Magazine.
He shared while talking about Bachrach, “He’s an inherently funny man. We will have a period of rehearsals, and that will be an opportunity for us all to work on the specific dynamics between the four and beyond. I’m very excited at the prospect of working with Ebon.”
Quinn also talked about Ebon’s character Ben Grimm and described it as a unique portrayal. He continued, “I think he’s amazing, and will definitely bring something very unique to his role; the dynamic is the thing that is the most important aspect of these four characters. I couldn’t think of another three actors that could being as much vigor and life to these other characters, and I’ll do my best to do the same.”

Joseph Quinn On His Training For ‘Fantastic Four’ Role
Joseph also shared details about his training for the role of Human Torch. The character was previously portrayed by Chris Evans and Michael B Jordan. He said, “I’ve been training for a little while now. We’ve got another few weeks, and I’ve got a wonderful trainer named Tim who’s brilliant, and is making me do all the things I don’t want to do. We’re not going for anything too enormous, physically, he just needs to look the part, and slowly, slowly, we’re getting there.”
Moreover, Quinn also talked about how he hasn’t gotten in touch with any of the previous actors who portrayed the role. He believes that it’s his opportunity to outshine and do better. He added, “I think they both did incredible jobs, and I’m definitely aware of how much this role means to a lot of people, and how successful they were in portraying him. I think it’s important to come at this with reverence for the people that have played it before, but an intention to make it one’s own. We’ll see.”
It seems Quinn and the whole cast are working hard on their roles. The movie is going to start shooting on July 26 this year. It is set in the past and is a period piece from the 1960s. Not many details about the plot have been shared but ‘Fantastic Four’ be released on July 25, 2025.
