If there’s anything that the any and every superhero movie has taught us, it’s that no hero becomes a hero without his villain. The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which has given us some of our most beloved heroes, has also been doing a commendable job at carving some mind-blowing villains.
The MCU show ‘Moon Knight‘ does not plan on falling short of a great villain as well. The show, which explores its hero’s alter ego and struggles with dissociative personality disorder, is set to introduce a brand new villain in its next installment.

Marc Spector’s Own Brother Could Be The Potential Villain In Season 2 Of ‘Moon Knight’
The first season of ‘Moon Knight‘ was a super hit with Arthur Harrow as the villain of the show. Though there hasn’t been any confirmation about season 2, a potential storyline is reportedly in the works with the probable antagonist.
The last season of the show ended with Jake Lockley, Spector’s third alter, who assassinated Arthur Harrow. But it is likely that another potential villain is going to be introduced in the next season.
‘Moon Knight’ had surprised its fans with a disclosure about Marc Spector having a brother named Randall who he died in his childhood. But according to a contrasting account in the comic book, Randall survived and went on to become an unscrupulous character just like his brother.
As the storyline progresses, Randall discovers the temple of Khonshu and becomes a frenzied cultist of the Moon God. He then becomes the strongest Moon Knight and attempts to kill his brother for his position. This is one possibility for a potential antagonist in the upcoming season.

Who Are Other Possible Characters That Can Take On As Villains In ‘Moon Knight’ Season 2?
Another possible antagonist can be Khonshu himself. He is the God of Vengeance himself and was also the one who gave Moon Knight his powers. Although he is dead now and the chances of a dead character returning are very low — they’re never zero.
Moreover, as history has it, Khonshu’s ways are different but he is still a bloodthirsty and cruel person — a perfect fit for a potential villain in the show.
A third possible villain is Bushman, another strong contender who was Marc Spector’s commanding officer once. Black Spectre is next on the list to be another major contender. He has a perfect villain origin story wherein he lost his children, and his wife, and the world rejected him too.
As fans now await an official confirmation from the MCU, they can stream ‘Moon Knight’ on Disney+.
