According to the reports by The Comic Circus, a potential Avengers vs. X-Men is under discussion. And if the fans were disrupted by the death of Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man, then they need to be prepared for something even more tragic.
A source said, “Another idea that’s been tossed around involves an Avengers vs. X-Men film set between the members of the 616 Avengers and the X-Men. However, it’s still too early to discuss, as the X-Men have not yet made their way to the 616 universes just yet.”

Will The Potential Marvel Film Stay True to Its Source?
‘Deadpool 3’ will mark the official entry of X-Men into Marvel with Hugh Jackman reprising his iconic role as Wolverine alongside Ryan Reynolds‘ Deadpool. Although the MCU has rights to the characters from the comics, there are many instances where the studio has steered away from its source material.
Apart from Iron Man, another prominent death was of Professor X and if the studios decide to follow the source material, then the death of Professor X might soften the blow from Iron Man’s ultimate sacrifice.
