The MCU may be heading into one of its biggest transitions yet. While ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ are still dominating the conversation, Marvel is already laying the groundwork for what comes next.
Several reports and insider claims have offered new details about upcoming projects, from ‘Black Panther 3’ and X-Men to Ghost Rider and Nova. And even if some of them are accurate, the post-Secret Wars MCU could look very different.
The Next MCU Saga Is Already Taking Shape, And It’s Huge
‘Black Panther 3’ is reportedly preparing to film in the UK, with a full Wakanda set potentially being constructed. That’s especially interesting because Wakanda could look dramatically different after ‘Secret Wars’. Ryan Coogler reportedly has significant creative freedom, which could allow him to reshape Wakanda for the next era of the MCU.

Meanwhile, Marvel’s long-awaited X-Men movie is reportedly expected to film in the UK and Ireland, including studios connected to ‘Avengers: Doomsday‘. On the animated side, ‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man‘ Season 2 reportedly already has a trailer ready. The series is expected to retain the charm that made its first season so popular, while Disney has reportedly greenlit Season 3. There are even claims that the story could ultimately run through Season 4.
Ghost Rider And Nova Could Expand Cosmic MCU
The rumored Ghost Rider project is also taking an interesting turn. It was reportedly planned to film in the UK, but Ryan Gosling allegedly pushed for production in the United States, with Marvel agreeing. Shawn Levy is reportedly attached to direct.

Drax has reportedly been considered, while Richard Rider could face the terrifying Annihilus. If these projects come together, Marvel isn’t simply planning its next few movies. It’s building an entirely new MCU.
