Marvel Studios have often been criticized for neglecting some of their most powerful heroes including Hulk and Captain Marvel. However that is not the case with Scarlet Witch, instead, they have built the character over several projects. ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ saw her destroy an Infinity Stone while withstanding an attack by Thanos and ‘Avengers: Endgame’ almost saw her beat the Mad Titan single-handedly.
It is finally in ‘WandaVision’ that revealed the true nature of Wanda’s powers transforming her into Scarlet Witch. And then in ‘Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness’, Wanda embraced her true identity, creating havoc on the multiverse in search of her children. Although it seemed as though Elizebeth Olsen’s journey as Scarlet Witch ended after her climactic sacrifice. Recently Marvel released a list of movies in which Scarlet Witch may be a part.
All Upcoming MCU Projects That Will Feature Scarlet Witch
The future of Marvel seems pretty solid with new heroes being introduced in projects of Phase Five like ‘Captain America: New World Order’, ‘Thunderbolts’, and ‘Blade’. However Scarlett Witch is undoubtedly one of the most powerful beings in the MCU, and sidelining her will be Marvel digging their own grave. Recent comments made by Elizebeth Olsen indicated that she has no ties with Marvel anymore, but the recent tweet by Marvel Updates tells a different story.
A recent tweet by the Marvel Update indicates that Elizebeth Olsen’s journey as Scarlet Witch is not over yet. It is confirmed that Scarlet Witch will appear in the following Marvel projects including, ‘What If…? S2’, ‘Marvel Zombies’, ‘Vision Quest’, ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’, and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’.

‘WandaVision’ Season 2 Needed For Scarlett Witch’s Character Development
Before ‘WandaVision’, Scarlet Witch was just a secondary, one-dimensional yet powerful character in the MCU. In WandaVision, Scarlet Witch was developed into a more complex character and became a sympathetic figure despite the wicked things she did. But this would still continue if Marvel would come up with ‘WandaVision’ season 2.
At the end of ‘Multiverse of Madness’, Wanda has a moment of metamorphosis in which she recognizes that her desire not to lose to anyone drove her to become a villain. Unfortunately ending was abrupt, with the Scarlet Witch seemingly dying instead of having to truly deal with the consequences of her actions.
Without ‘WandaVision’ season 2, Marvel might have made it difficult for a Scarlet Witch comeback, but if the studio brings her back and gives her storyline priority, it could be redeemed.
