Samuel L. Jackson took a moment aside during the premiere of ‘Secret Invasion’ to discuss his journey as Nick Fury. Since popping up in the post-credits scene of the 2098 film ‘Iron Man,’ the actor has become a significant part of the MCU. But why hasn’t Nick Fury been spotted in Wakanda yet? Marvel, we need answers, and we need them now!
For more than 10 years, Nick Fury has made countless trips between different universes. But why haven’t we seen him engage with the dignitaries of Wakanda? He told Entertainment Tonight, “I’m still trying to figure out why I’ve never been to Wakanda. They didn’t ask me to go, but I’m still trying to get there. I need a ticket.”

Samuel L. Jackson To Lead MCU Series ‘Secret Invasion’
Samuel L. Jackson returns as Nick Fury in the limited series ‘Secret Invasion.’ The plot follows Fury as he uncovers a group of renegade Skrulls conspiracy to gain control of Earth by assuming positions of power worldwide, recruiting Everett K. Ross, Maria Hill, and Talos to stop it and save humanity. The show is set in approximately 2025, at the same as ‘Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania‘ takes place.
‘Secret Invasion’ stars Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Charlayne Woodard, Killian Scott, Samuel Adewunmi. Dermot Mulroney, Christopher McDonald, Katie Finneran, Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, and Don Cheadle round out the supporting cast. ‘Secret Invasion’ is available to stream beginning June 21, 2023.
