Superheroes are cool and they they attract everybody ranging from children to adult and even old people. But some of the most famous superheroes today are of American origin which creates an imbalance in cultural representation in the Superhero genre. But things are changing in the recent years. And diversity and inclusion are happening in the Marvel comics. Asian superheroes along with many other ethnicities are finding their place on the world stage.

15. Grace Choi
One of the diverse superheroes, Grace Choi is a metahuman who is a core member of the superhero team Outsiders. An Asian American, Amazon, and a survivor of child prostitution, Choi has super strength, stamina, healing, invulnerability, divine powers, and longevity.
14. Jubilee
Jubilation Lee, born to wealthy parents in Los Angeles, was involved in petty crimes as she manifested her powers. She has pyrotechnic powers and is teamed up with X-Men. The superhero gained super strength, speed, and the power to turn into a vaporous form after undergoing vampirism and becoming part of Forgiven.
13. Colleen Wing
Wing appeared in the comics for the first time in 1974, and has immense abilities including enhanced strength, accelerated healing, and high resistance to injury. Born as a Japanese American samurai, Wing has teamed up with other superheroes including Iron Fist, Misty Night, and Luke Cage.
12. Dr. Light
Kimiyo Hoshi is a divorced mother and astronomer who divided her time between Justice League and motherhood. She is kind and intelligent and has faced Arthur Light in combat. The part-time superhero has the ability to manipulate starlight.

Born to Korean-American parents, Cho is said to be the seventh smartest person in the world. The superhuman has a brain capable of calculating the endless possibilities of any given moment. Thus a hyper mind. Part of the Marvel team, he has even become once a friendlier version of Hulk.
10. Cassandra Cain
A badass superhero Cassandra was adopted by Bruce Wayne. She was the daughter of David Cain, a member of the League of Assassins, and Sandra Wu-san who became Lady Shiva. Cassandra has both Asian and European descent. Though illiterate and mute, the superhero is well-skilled in martial arts.
09. Shang Chi
Born to Chinese crime lord Fu Manchu and an American woman, Shang Chi was raised to work as an assassin for his father. He is well-trained in martial arts and went on to work for his father. Later knowing the reality of his father’s evilness, he turns to the righteous path and goes on to work with Spiderman, the Thing, and Iron Fist.

08. Katana
Tatsu Yamashiro has a samurai lifestyle and is skilled in martial arts. Born in Japan, Katana was an orphan and had a life of losses as a young woman. Being the core member of Outsiders she is an agent of vengeance and a sworn enemy of evildoers.
07. Jolt
Helen “Hallie” Takahama was subjected to multiple cruel experiments by former Red Skull scientist, Arnim Zola. As the only survivor, Hallie gained super powers including super-speed, enhanced healing, and can give out bio-electric discharges. Jolt debuted as a superhero in Thunderbolt.

Here’s an Indian superhero on the list. This superlady can manipulate time and send her mind forward or backward in time to any moment that she has or will experience. She was once part of the New Warriors. Recently she was seen again with the X-Men.
05. Silk
Korean-American Cindy Moon is another teenager who was bitten by a radioactive spider and got a lot of powers. With the help of a stranger named Ezekiel, she learned to control her abilities. Speed and the ability to spin organic and stronger webs from her fingertips are one of her strengths when compared to Spiderman.
04. OMAC
Cambodian-American scientist Kevin Kho was infected by a virus that turned him into an O.M.A.C., or the One-Machine Attack Construct. In his alter ego OMAC is very powerful that he can even be a rival to Superman. He also has an array of other abilities including shape-shifting and the manipulation of electromagnetic devices. Being a slave to Brother Eye, Kevin defeated Justice League International and killed Kamo, the father of King Shark, after which he was pushed to another dimension.
03. Atom
Kevin Choi has a short story as he was fatally stabbed by Deathstroke. This science prodigy is a Cantonese man and his removal by death caused agitation among fans.
02. Omega Sentinel
Born to protect both mutant and human populations, Omega Sentinel is originally Karima Shapandar and is part of the Indian police. S.H.I.E.L.D found her before her sentinel programming kicked in. Magneto and Charles Xavier helped her out of the programming.
01. Ms. Marvel
Kamala Khan is an immensely popular Pakistani-American Muslim superhero. She has shape-shifting powers and looked like her idol Carol Danvers after the events of Infinity. She has partnered up with Spiderman on many occasions, to fight off evil. The superwoman also has the ability to enlarge and resize her feet and hands.
