The Avengers may have shown a united front in all battles of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but the case wasn’t quite the same when Iron Man chose to roast Thor on behalf of all the other Avengers during a recent event. Robert Downey Jr. held no bars as he roasted Chris Hemsworth left, right, and center with Marvel-themed jabs.
Though it was just the two stars present at Thursday’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, Robert Downey Jr. made sure that the rest of the ‘Avengers’ cast also participated in the grand roast of the mighty Thor. Here’s what he said.

Robert Downey Jr. Roasts Chris Hemsworth In Three Words From Each Avenger
Robert Downey Jr. chose to pick up arms of humor against Chris Hemsworth as the two attended the Hollywood Walk of Fame event on Thursday. Taking over the dais, Robert Downey Jr. delivered a speech as he revealed what all the Avengers from the franchise think of Chris Hemsworth aka Thor.
“I asked his fellow Avengers to describe Chris Hemsworth in three words,” he declared before revealing what each one of them responded. “Jeremy Renner called him ‘Absurdly annoyingly amazing.’ Mark Ruffalo described him as ‘Friend from work.‘”

As the audience burst out in laughter, the ‘Ironman’ actor paused before adding, “Oh, that’s a callback. Now I get it,” referring to a popular joke from ‘Thor: Ragnarok’.” Scarlett Johansson summed it up with, ‘Sensitive leading lady,'” he further continued.

Robert Downey Jr. Saves The Best Roast For The End
As Robert Downey Jr. continued to make audiences catching their breath amid laughter, he saved the best of the roasts for the end. The best roast came from Chris Evans. “Captain America dubbed him, ‘Second best Chris,'” Downey revealed, as the audiences responded with a mix of laughs and cheers.
Downey concluded the roast session with three words of his own for Hemsworth: “Hollywood star recipient.” The two then shared a hug as Hemsworth thanked Downey for the humor-filled speech.
Hemsworth later revealed an amusing anecdote of his own, as he said that he had mistakenly believed he already had a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2019, he and other ‘Avengers: Endgame‘ cast members imprinted their handprints in cement outside the TCL Chinese Theater. “I thought that was the Walk of Fame,” Hemsworth explained to Variety. “So when we did it, I assumed, ‘Oh cool, I’m getting a star,'” he said.
However, he soon learned the thruth. “I went along with it like I knew what was happening,” he admitted. “Later, I asked, ‘So where’s the star?’ and someone clarified, ‘No, that’s not what this is,'” he said.
