It’s been a little over a year since the title of the highly anticipated ‘Spider-Verse’ sequel was released. Not long after, Sony Pictures Animation unveiled a first look at ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ back in December 2021. The film will feature Miles Morales and we can witness his return to the big screen.
Alongside Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People. They all will face off against a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered. In addition, we have now learned that more Spider-heroes are set to make their appearance in this film. Also, this time, they’re quite familiar to us all. So the question is, will Tom Holland’s Spider-Man also appear In ‘Spider-Verse 2‘?

Will Tom Holland’s Peter Parker Appear In ‘Spider Verse 2’?
According to a recent rumor, Tom Holland will once more take on the multiverse in ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’, the next animated film by MCU. Holland’s Peter Parker will appear in the sequel in some form, according to sources. The prediction is that his brief cameo will be alongside Miles Morales across the spider-verse.
Phil Lord, writer and producer of ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ has hinted about cameos from actors like Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in addition to Tom Holland. “It’s a high bar to clear. The gauntlet has been thrown,” Miller added, “All things are possible in the multiverse.”

‘Spider Man: Across The Spider Verse 2′: New Spidey Variants
Other lesser-known Spider-People rumoured to appear in ‘Across the Spider-Verse’ include Ben Reilly, AKA the Scarlet Spider, a genetic clone of Peter Parker with a similar set of abilities; Earth-138’s Spider-Punk, a variant who acquired his powers after being bitten by a spider exposed to radiation from illegal waste disposal; and Cyborg Spider-Woman, a powerful variant with a huge gun for an arm.
The character Takuya Yamashiro, also known as “Japanese Spider-Man,” from the 1978 Spider-Man series, and Issa Rae as Jessica Drew, also known as Spider-Woman, a pregnant woman with spider-like abilities, have both been confirmed to play roles in the storyline. By the sound of it, ‘Across the Spider-Verse’ is like a fully packed movie that will probably surprise us and also fulfil the fans’ expectations. All we have to do is wait till June 2, 2023.
