As per Deadline, Brendan has been confirmed to be a part of the ‘Rental Family‘, directed by Mitsuyo Miyazaki. Also popularly known as Hikari, the director has been working on this project since 2019 and promises to deliver a phenomenal performance. No wonder the movie felt right to Fraser, given the efforts and time its director is seemingly putting behind its making.

What Is ‘Rental Family’ About?
Directed by Mitsuyo Miyazaki, ‘Rental Family‘ follows the story of an actor living in Tokyo. He gets hired by an American for a Japanese rental family company that provides professional stand-in services. As the story moves further, the lead character comes across unexpected turns, eventually bringing him joy within his own built-in family.
The film’s cast members include Mari Yamamoto, Akira Emoto, Takehiro Hira, and Brendan Fraser. The production of the film will reportedly begin in Japan during spring. Other than these basic details, not much has been revealed about the movie yet.
After his award-winning performance in ‘The Whale‘, fans now await to see Brendan give another laudable performance in ‘Rental family‘. Meanwhile, he is also reportedly going to take up a role in the upcoming comedy film, ‘Brothers’.
