‘Ghosted’: All Cameos In Chris Evans And Ana De Armas’ Film Explained

Boy meets girl. Girl meets boys. They go out and have a great time. But then the girl ghosts the guy. Or does she? ‘Ghosted,’ starring Chris Evans and Ana de Armas, is now streaming on Apple TV. Fans have been waiting to see a post-MCU Chris Evans return to doing comedies and watch Ana de Armas showcase more of her ‘James Bond’ training.

This spy-adventure comedy in the vein of ‘Romancing The Stone’ has a star-studded cast with Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Tim Blake Nelson, and Adrien Brody. But what really got the audience grinning ear to ear was the cameos that came out of nowhere. These were the much-needed injections of humor to boost up the film.

Reeling from a bad breakup, down-to-earth Cole (Chris Evans) falls for enigmatic Sadie (Ana de Armas). Convinced she’s the one, he’s shocked to find she’s a secret agent. Before he can make up his mind about her, Cole and Sadie get swept away on an international adventure. Together, they must stop the sale of a dangerous weapon called the Aztec.

Chris Evans is the dude in distress, and Ana de Armas is the knight in a Kevlar vest. ‘Ghosted’ is ironically a harmless one-time watch that’s offensively low on comedy and locked and loaded with action sequences you’ve seen before. But ‘Ghosted’ is smart enough to know that its audience is turning in for its delicious lead pairing. Not to mention Chris Evans’s MCU friends stopping by for cameos we could watch on loop all day.

Ryan Reynolds cameos as Jonas in ‘Ghosted.’

Thanks to Chris Evans’ “interesting phone book,” a host of Marvel co-stars appear as bounty hunters to bring Cole and Sadie to Leveque (Adrien Brody). Sadie leaves Cole in the care of Marco, who is killed by a bounty hunter called ‘Grandson of Sam,’ played by Anthony Mackie. MCU fandom knows him as Falcon, who takes over as the next Captain America. As soon as he declares himself the best, he’s attacked by another country hunter named Leopard (played by John Choo).

Leopard instructs them to drive, only to be killed by another country hunter looking for Cole. Sebastian Stan (Bucky from MCU) plays this bounty hunter who calls himself God. However, he gets hit by a car driven by Sam, who we thought was dead. These bounty hunters outsmart each play out an excellent gag in the movie.

Last but not least, we have Ryan Reynolds cameoing as Jonas. Jonas seemingly appears out of nowhere in the final showdown between Sadie and the rogue agents. While in the middle of a shootout, he tells Sadie that he enjoyed the time they spent together, even if it meant him losing an eye. As always, Ryan Reynolds’ comic timing is excellent. He soon leaves before he can lose any more of his limbs.
