Post his DCU exit, Henry Cavill is bagging exciting movie projects left, right, and center. Making good of his bravado, he had become an indispensable part of action cinema. In his new endeavor, he’s collaborating with British filmmaker Guy Ritchie for ‘The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare.’ 

‘The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare is the second collaboration between both Brits, as Cavill expands his resume by working with directors of Ritchie’s talent. Guy Ritchie, known for his homegrown crime-thrillers, has had a prolific output in recent years. With Henry Cavill on board his next project, we are looking at one of the most anticipated films of 2023.

The movie is based on Damien Lewis’ ‘The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare’

‘The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare’ is a spy-drama film based on the non-fiction book of the same name by author Damien Lewis. It is based on an unbelievable yet true story of how Winston Churchill teamed with Ian Fleming to create a covert combat unit during the dark days of the second world war.

The clandestine squad’s unconventional and ungentlemanly fighting techniques against the Nazis helped change the war’s course. Churchill and Flemings’s covert teams were the world’s first Black Ops unit. The movie is written by Paul Tamasy, Eric Johnson, Arash Amel, and Guy Ritchie himself.

Henry Cavill and Eiza González will lead Guy Ritchie’s spy drama film

Guy Ritchie has cast Henry Cavill for the lead role. They have previously worked together on ‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E.’ Henry Cavill plays the secret organization’s leader that will change the course of the second world war in ‘The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare‘.

Eiza González will co-star with Cavill in the spy-drama film. The other actors rounding the supporting case are Alan Ritchson, Henry Golding, Henrique Zaga, Alex Pettyfer, and Cary Elwes. Other cast members include Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Babs Olusanmokun, and Til Schweiger.

‘The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare’ is Guy Ritchie’s first war film. It doesn’t have a release date currently.
