‘Jumanji‘ came out a long time ago in 1995 and although it was a box-office success, there is no confirmation on why the producers never made a sequel. However, an indirect sequel, ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’, was released in 2017 followed by ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’ in 2019.
While the sequels did not feature any actors from the previous installment, they received praise from critics and audiences. Both the films featured cast members who are well-known faces in the entertainment industry and this opened the potential for more films. A third film has been in development for a long time and audiences are eagerly waiting for its release.

‘Jumanji 4’: Plot Details
The mid-credits scene of ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’ hinted towards the storyline of the next film. We saw that Spencer’s mother and a mechanic were accidentally pulled inside the game and a few animals from the game also came out into the real world. Considering all these, there is a possibility that the avatars have also escaped.
While the first two films featured the characters inhabiting the bodies of the heroes inside the game, they will finally get to meet the avatars in the real world. Meanwhile, Dwayne Johnson, who played the lead role in the two films, and director Jake Kasdan once hinted that the third film might disclose the identity of ‘Jurgen in the real world.’

‘Jumanji 4’: Cast And Release Date
The producers have not revealed anything about when audiences would get to see ‘Jumanji 4.’ It would take some time since Dwayne Johnson is busy with other projects and the third film will be impossible without him. However, we can expect the return of Karen Gillan, Jack Black, and Kevin Hart.
The rest of the teens that include Madison Iseman, Alex Wolff, Morgan Turner, and Ser’Darius Blain might reprise their roles. Awkwafina might portray Ming Fleetfoot once again and a new villain is expected to appear in the sequel with other new characters.
The third film has been delayed because of the Covid-19 pandemic and there was a gap of two years between the first two films due to the absence of restrictions. Although there are no more restrictions now, producers are possibly working on bringing a bigger and better sequel for the audiences.
