Even though Netflix launched a ton of fantastic new films in May, ‘The Judge‘, a 10-year-old legal drama starring Robert Downey Jr., is one of its trending films. While fan had initially disregarded the film, the film has gained a newfound traction with a top spot on the streamer’s chart of the most watched movies in the United States on Netflix.

With 5.3 million views in just one week since its US release, the legal drama has become one of the Top 10 most viewed movies on the website worldwide. The film debuted in 2014 and stars Robert Downey Jr as Hank Palmer, a lawyer.

Though it’s unclear why the film wasn’t as famous or successful during it’s release, fans are now picking up on the film, mostly for Downey Jr’s stunning performance along with a slew of other notable actors.

The Judge‘, directed by David Dobkin known for his work on ‘Wedding Crashers‘ and ‘Resident Alien’, stars Robert Downey Jr. as Hank Palmer in the lead role. Palmer is an intelligent but dubious lawyer who returns to his hometown of Indianapolis following the death of his mother.

The film also stars Robert Duvall, Vera Farmiga, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jeremy Strong and Dax Shepherd among others. It is available for streaming on Netflix.
