“We All Looked Absolute Losers”: ‘Barbie’ Actor Kingsley Ben-Adir Admits All Kens Looking Hilarious In Their Costumes For The First Time

The summer of 2023 couldn’t get better! Cinegoers will witness the biggest July film clash in recent times. Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ and Greta Gerwig’s ‘Barbie’ are set to release on the same day. Both directors are masters of storytelling in their genres and aesthetic styles. But ‘Barbie’ is an important film for both Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig. The director is entering a new and interesting space to tell feminist narratives, and Robbie is on board as a producer for the live-action film.

‘Barbie’ is the story of the titular character, played by Margot Robbie, descending into an identity crisis. After living a lavish and comfortable life, she is up for the challenge of living in the real world. Many Barbies and Kens exist in the same realm in the film. Along with Ryan Gosling, Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Scott Evans, and Ncuti Gatwa play different Kens. Kingsley narrated the story for the first time when the actors donned the Ken costumes for the first time.
