Anne Hathaway Talks About ‘Devil Wears Prada’ Sequel
We would actually love to see Anne Hathaway step into the shoes of Andrea Sachs one more time. But Hathaway, as it seems isn’t too thrilled about the idea. She has spoken about the sequel earlier also.
Talking to E! News about whether there will ever be a sequel, the actress said, “I don’t think a continuation of that story is probably ever gonna happen. But I think we will continue to give out awards to other people, so I think there’s a future for that.”
She then added, “The truth of the matter is—with any film—all we can do is make it. The reason that movie felt so special was that we were a team and we did that work, but really it’s the love that everybody pours to it.”
Adding that viewers “don’t need to worry about a sequel. Let’s just keep the thing that we all agree with love,” Hathaway wrapped up the talks of the sequel.

‘The Devil Wears Prada’ In Pop Culture
The 2006 hit comedy film is probably one of the biggest movies that Anne Hathaway has made. With the star trio of Emily Blunt and Meryl Streep, Hathaway’s character Andrea Sachs is one of her most characters, and has of late emerged to become one of the most significant moments in 2000s pop culture.
The film, which revolves around Hathaway undergoing a complete transformation as she is hired as the assistant to a rather devilish Meryl Streep, also explores themes of success, morals, and the thin line between them that people on the road to success often have to rub off.
The film is adapted from the book ‘The Devil Wears Prada‘ by Lauren Weisberger, who wrote it after she was an assistant to Anna Wintour. The book also has a sequel set a decade later titled ‘Revenge Wears Prada‘, which brings fans to the question; is there going to be a sequel to the ‘Devil Wears Prada‘ movie? Well, the cast doesn’t seem keen on it.
