Olivia Rodrigo’s new album ‘Guts‘ did not disappoint her fans. Keeping up with the success of ‘Driver’s License‘, ‘Good 4 U‘, ‘Deja Vu‘ and her other fantastic songs, ‘Guts‘ has also delivered. Billboard recently released the ranking of all the twelve songs on the album.

Billboard has all good things to say about Olivia Rodrigo‘s sophomore album., and they have put ‘Lacy‘ at number 12. The top three spots belong to ‘Vampire‘, ‘All American B***h‘ and ‘Get Him Back‘ on number one.

Billboard writes about ‘Lacy’, “The finger-picked folk-pop that popped up a few times on Sour — and gets showcased in the verses of “All-American B–ch” — blooms into view on ‘Lacy,’ which focuses on Rodrigo’s feelings of jealousy and finds her voice dropping down to a scornful whisper.”

They continue to say, “The morphing lyrics of the chorus represent the songwriting triumph here, with Rodrigo swapping out the majority of the lines of the first hook as she continues describing the desperation of her envy.”

Netizens disagree with Billboard and are shaming them online as well for placing ‘Lacy‘ at number twelve. The fourth song on ‘Guts’ is all about jealousy and idolizing another female at the same time. The internet is divided over who the song really is about.

Some netizens believe it is about Taylor Swift, while others say it is Sabrina Carpenter. And a new angle of homosexuality has been brought in that the song is about a completely different person. But everyone agrees that it is one of the best songs on the album. So netizens took to X to express their beliefs.
