British singer Adele has carved an amazing legacy for herself and holds much influence in the music industry. The singer has managed to capture hearts through her powerful vocals over the years, giving fans some of the greatest musical hits of all time. But the singer now wants to explore other creative avenues apart from music.
Adele recently revealed that she wants to take a break from music and wants to pursue other creative fields. She doesn’t plan on making new music anytime soon and will go on a break after her current show ends. Here’s what she said.

“I Don’t Have Any Plans For New Music”: Adele
Adele will not make music for some time as she wants to focus on other creative aspects of her life, the singer recently said during an interview with German outlet ZDF. She was speaking ahead of the start of her residency that would have launched in Munich’s Messa arena in August, between the 2nd and 24th.
She revealed, “I don’t have any plans for new music, at all.” The ‘Skyfall’ singer added, “I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while.”

The singer also indicated that her growing stardom is part of the reason she is taking a break. Her fans often refer to her as the “celebrity of the celebrities“, and Adele is seemingly struggling with the limelight and hence she wants a break from it.

Adele Doesn’t Really Enjoy Her Fame
Further in the interview, Adele also got candid about her relationship with fame. The singer said she misses her normal life, away from the limelight. “I don’t like being famous. I love making music and that people are receptive to it and like it…but the fame side of it, I absolutely hate and I miss everything about who I was [before becoming a celebrity],” she said.
Adele’s demand in the industry is currently very high. People enjoy her music and her sense of music-making is like no other. For what would be her last performance before a sabbatical, a whole stadium in Munich has been dedicated to her 10-performance residency, which will continue throughout August.
She previously warned her fans that there would be a long wait for her fifth album. As reported by Consequence, Adele told the audience that she didn’t think that she would “write an album for quite some time“.
Meanwhile, she also didn’t reveal what creative things she will focus on. Forbes reported previously in 2023 that she was approved for a Trademark in the UK for a company called The Shelbourne Collective Limited, which is registered under Specialized Design Activities. It would be now interesting to see what creative field Adele chooses to explore.
