A new rap beef has surfaced in the hip-hop world, with two of the most revered rappers, Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion, at the center of it. Minaj has had beefs with rappers like Lil Kim, Latto, Cardi B, and others in the past. Nicki and Megan turned from friends to foes after the latter dropped a diss track ‘Hiss’, taking digs at Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty.
One of the verses in Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Hiss’ mentions ‘Megan’s Law’ which refers to a federal law for sex offenders to publicly disclose their information. Nicki Minaj’s husband and brother are convicted sex offenders, and the rapper hinted at the two. This did not sit well with Minaj and her fanbase, Barbz. The fandom has been doxxing people online, and they went to an extent to threaten to desecrate Stallion’s mother’s grave. Due to this, the police authorities are now involved in the beef.

Amidst the feud between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion, the ‘Pink Friday’ artist on Stationhead said, “You better go conjure up your mother and apologize. That’s disgusting.” The Barbz were quick to reveal the location of Holly’s grave on the internet. They asked the other fans, allegedly to cause damage to it, to get back at Megan.
Now, as per TMZ, the cemetery in Texas, where Megan Thee Stallion’s mother is buried, has contacted authorities. They have asked to amp up the security in the cemetery due to the current feud that has grown to a threatening level, where Barbz have been revealed to have doxxed many fans of Megan called Hotties, and some of them have decided to take legal action against them.

Megan Is In Trouble As The Kanka Family Threatens To Take Legal Action Against Her
While Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Hiss’ revved up Nicki Minaj to take shots at her, she is not the only one affected by her new rap song. In ‘Hiss’, Megan has a verse about ‘Megan’s Law’ that is directed at Kenneth Petty, who has failed to register as a sex offender in California.
The federal law was enacted in 1996 after the rape and murder of Megan Kanka in New Jersey. The murderer was a sex offender living next door, but the seven-year-old and her family were unaware. Now that the law has come into light again, her father, Richard Kanka, has taken offense over the rap song.
Richard Kanka found the mention of ‘Megan’s Law’ in ‘Hiss’ disrespectful towards his dead daughter while talking to TMZ. According to him, “Using his daughter’s name in such a graphic/offensive manner was highly offensive for the pain his daughter and family felt.” The father is considering taking a legal path, if possible, against Megan.
