However, in 2018, at an event, both Nicki and Cardi got into a physical altercation. Now, the beef is extended between their husbands Kenneth Petty and Offset, respectively.
The origin of the beef was at the recently concluded MTV VMAs 2023. Nicki Minaj carried out the hosting duties at the event. Cardi B and Offset also attended the VMAS where the Grammy-winning artist performed her latest single with Megan Thee Stallion. Kenneth Petty’s crew started attacking Cardi B on social media which provoked Offset. He also threatened his crew, and Petty’s crew is on the lookout.

The feud between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B is getting fiery with Kenneth Petty and Offset going head to head online. It all started at the MTV VMAs 2023 when both Nicki and Cardi B were present at the show with their respective partners.
During the show, one of Kenneth’s friends took a dig at the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper, posting, “Ask @iamcardib why she mad Big Queens in da building.” The member continued, “We just different on this side, real sturdy diehard s***.” This irked the Migos rapper who threatened them and slid into one of the members DMs, asking, “Where you located?” He schooled them for talking bad about his wife, writing, “You n****s p***y, speaking on female business.” Offset continued, “And talking crazy broke a**, don’t got money for war.”

Offset Flies Off To Atlanta After A Threat Video From Kenneth Petty
On September 16, 2023, Kenneth Petty shared a video where he warned Offset, “you gonna be planning your funeral, p*****. A man alleged in the video about a skirmish.
The man whom Offset sent a DM said, “They wanted to come at me at the VMAs, man. We ain’t even do nothing to nobody.” Another man cautioned, “Don’t make us put you off the set, n****.”
Kenneth Petty and his men were searching for Offset after the threat. After threatening a physical altercation, Offset chose to flew away to another place, sharing a video saying, “We hopping off jets. [they] standing outside.”
