The Kansas Chiefs player got emotional during one of Taylor Swift’s songs when she performed during her Amsterdam night of the Eras Tour. She performed a mashup of ‘Mary’s Song’, ‘So High School’ and ‘Everything Has Changed‘ during her final show.
In a video posted by a fan on X (Twitter), Kelce was seen swaying to her songs and was even recording his girlfriend performing. The lyrics go, “Everything Has Changed, Cause all I know is we said, ‘Hello’/ And your eyes look like comin’ home/ All I know is a simple name/And everything has changed,” and that’s when he started to get emotional and was wiping his face. But later he started to clap and support her.

Chief’s star Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany Mahomes, was also present during the show and they went to check on Travis as he wiped his face more. Moreover, during the end lyrics Taylor sang: “I’ll by 87, you’ll be 89 / I’ll still look at you like the stars that shine / In the sky, oh my my my,” and Travis started to clap and raise his hands in the air.

‘Mary’s Song‘ has taken a new meaning since Taylor and Travis started to date. His jersey number is 87 and they both are born in ‘1989‘ (Taylor’s album) and the nod to her boyfriend perfectly complemented the whole song.
