Lil Kim had a great influence in the late 90s and early 20s. Her moves in the ‘Quiet Storm’ are regarded as some of her iconic moves. Now recently, these moves helped a woman dodge actual bullets.
As crazy as it sounds, a woman from Alabama said Lil Kim‘s move helped her to survive a drive-by shoot in her apartment complex. Her clip explaining how she escaped the shooting is going viral.

Alabama Woman Credits Lil Kim’s Bob-And-Weave To Help Escape A Shooting
On April 26, a drive-by shooting took place at the Westgate Village Apartment Complex in Dothan, Alabama. The local news station WTVY News 4 reached there to interview the witnesses.
They interviewed a woman named Shariah Taylor outside her apartment. She revealed that she heard gunshots and ran to save her child. She said,
“We already heard a few gunshots but I didn’t think nothing of it. Nobody didn’t hear no screaming. So, I get to the car. I hear [imitating five gunshots]. At least about seven rounds. So, I’m ducking, I’m dodging, I’m ducking, I’m dodging, I’m ducking. Doing Lil’ Kim, trying to get my baby in the car. Then, I throw my baby in the back seat and we just sped off.”
According to WTVY, another shooting took place in the Westgate Village a few days ago and the woman got shot. However, according to Dothan PD, both of these shootouts are not connected.
Tylor claimed she didn’t feel safe in her house. She said, “Sometimes, I don’t feel safe,” Taylor said. “I’m kind of paranoid out here and I’m scared. If you stay in Westgate Village, stay in your house,” she added. That’s all I’ve got to say.” Despite being news to be worried about, Taylor’s statement about Lil Kim lightens the thing.
