During an interview with Howard Stern on SiriusXM’s ‘Howard 100,’ Lady Gaga talked about how she did not believe Taylor Swift. Gaga said, “You know, I’ve met her a few times, and I can’t say anything bad about her. It was at the AMAs or something—her and I were sitting next to each other, and she goes, ‘Oh my god! I love ARTPOP! And I love ‘Applause!’ ‘Applause is my favorite song!’ I was thinking, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah, this chick is full of s***,’ right?”

What Made Gaga Change Her Mind About The Artist?
Nonetheless, Lady Gaga believed that Taylor Swift was a little monster when her stylist informed her that the singer was blasting Gaga’s ‘Artpop.’ In the interview, she told what her stylist said, “‘Taylor Swift is here blasting ARTPOP so loud, and she is dancing, and she’s posing.’ I said to myself, ‘I like this girl.’ You know why? Because she said the same thing to my face as she said behind my back. Yeah, I like her.”
Taylor Swift is also in praise of Lady Gaga. During her Entertainment Weekly interview, Taylor Swift admired the dexterity in Gaga’s career. She said, “When people think she’s gonna go one way, she goes the exact opposite. She did that Tony Bennett record and won a Grammy. And then she pivots and goes and wins a Golden Globe for American Horror Story: Hotel.”
Swift continued,“And then she pivots and does Joanne. And then she pivots and wins an Oscar for ‘A Star Is Born.’ That’s so cool, that ability to be so capable in so many different worlds. There’s so much dexterity to her career.”
