The 2018 hate train seems to have not halted at the destination aimed at, as Nicki Minaj has become an unstoppable force in rap, and it is difficult for it to catch up with the queen of rap. Minaj is back with a new studio album titled ‘Pink Friday 2’ that has created havoc and become a chart-bursting album on several streaming platforms. While some haters are trying to underplay the achievement, they are unable to stop the pink phenomenon!
Nicki Minaj became the first female rapper to have the highest streaming day on Spotify with ‘Pink Friday 2’. After the success of the album, Minaj started the press tour for it, and she went on the popular streamer Kai Cenat’s Twitch stream. The stream has become a sensation, with several meme-worthy and heartfelt moments on it. The fellow Trinidians had a lot of fun, but the veteran hip-hop journalist Elliott Wilson shaded the stream on his X account.

Elliott Wilson Shaded Nicki Minaj And Kai Cenat’s Stream
Fellow Trinidians Kai Cenat and Nicki Minaj created history with the Twitch stream. Minaj had a fun time interacting with Kai Cenat and his family while promoting her album ‘Pink Friday 2’. The Barbz have been fiercely supportive of the rap queen since the album came out. The stream had more than 345k viewers joining in.
Recently, Nicki Minaj had a scuffle with Billboard after they contacted her when Nicki posted a contest for her fans. In the contest, she asked them to post about the vinyls and digital downloads. While the era has just begun, the beef is getting meatier with the veteran journalist, Elliott Wilson, shading Nicki for going on Kai’s stream.

Elliott Wilson is the founder of Rap Radar and the Chief Editor of XXL. He is known for his articulated questioning and deep knowledge of the hip-hop industry. Elliott is known for his interviews with A$AP Rocky, Tyler The Creator, Nicki Minaj, and others. While it is unclear whether the ‘Monster’ rapper will give an interview, his shade by sharing a screenshot of the Kai stream and captioning it “Hip Hop Journalism”, has reduced his chances to none.

Since Elliott Wilson shaded Nicki Minaj, the Barbz has been having a field day criticizing the journalist. The most quoted interview is when Elliot took one of Nicki’s song names wrongly. It was ‘Come See About Me’ from her 2018 album ‘Queen’, but he said, ‘Come And See Me’. Nicki Minaj, after the tweet blew up, responded to the shade thrown by Elliott.
Elliot if you’d spit JayZ dikk out for one second, you’d be able to be happy for the new comers. Isn’t that how y’all tried to tarnish my image? By saying I’m not welcoming new btchs in? Did songs with all of them tho. Why you not happy for a young black man like Kai. Tmrw btch

Nicki Minaj referenced ‘Life+Times’ with Jay-Z. She wrote, “Elliot if you’d spit JayZ dikk out for one second, you’d be able to be happy for the new comers. Isn’t that how y’all tried to tarnish my image? By saying I’m not welcoming new btchs in? Did songs with all of them tho. Why you not happy for a young black man like Kai.
