Jenna Ortega Spills Beans On ‘Wednesday’ Season 2
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Jenna Ortega made a few revelations about the upcoming season of her Netflix show ‘Wednesday‘ and it has led to fans getting even more excited than they already were.
The second season of the show, which Ortega is also producing, will explore darker themes, the actress revealed. New horrors can be expected with more supernatural aspects as well.
“I think the feel that we’re going for is a little bit more horror-inspired,” Ortega said. “Not to say that suddenly we’re the goriest show of all time. I mean, there’s six-year-olds watching.”
She then added an example to explain her point. “We’re doing this thing now where Wednesday just kind of appears. She is a little bit of a jump scare herself,” she said.

Jenna Ortega Talks About Percy Hynes’ Sexual Assault Scandal
Although the entire cast of ‘Wednesday‘ will probably return for the second season, one person will be missing — Percy Hynes, who was removed from the series following a sexual assault scandal.
Hynes’ sexual assault case created major headlines even though the actor denied them all. In his statement posted on Instagram after the allegations, he said, “Hey everyone. There’s something I need to clarify. Earlier this year, somebody I’ve never met started a campaign of misinformation about me online. Because of this, my family has been doxed, and my friends have received death threats.”
“Underage photos of me were used, and examples of me acting in character were presented as hateful. My friend Jane was falsely portrayed as a victim, and her attempts to set the record straight have been ignored. She gave me permission to include her in this message. The rumors are false,” he declared.
Talking about the scandal and Hynes’ exit, Ortega said it’s “a weird redirect,” adding, “But we’re introducing so many different characters that I think it kind of will get lost.”
