    Most of the ‘Wednesday’ series was filmed in the Nevermore Academy and its exterior is the Cantacuzino Castle which is situated in Romania. This was the place where Wednesday was enrolled by her parents to study. The castle was built by Romanian politician Prince Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino in 1911 and was also a summer home to him. Most of the scenes were filmed here during the wintertime to give the series a spooky vibe.
