Cantacuzino Castle
Most of the ‘Wednesday’ series was filmed in the Nevermore Academy and its exterior is the Cantacuzino Castle which is situated in Romania. This was the place where Wednesday was enrolled by her parents to study. The castle was built by Romanian politician Prince Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino in 1911 and was also a summer home to him. Most of the scenes were filmed here during the wintertime to give the series a spooky vibe.
Palatul Monteoru And Casa Niculescu-Dorobantu
As mostly the exterior of the Nevermore Academy was shot at the Cantacuzino Castle, the interior was shot at Palatul Monteoru and Casa Niculescu-Dorobantu different places. The place is now transformed into a music and art cultural center for exhibitions.

Wednesday was filmed in Jericho, Vermont which is a real place in Romania. The town shown in the series was built at this place near the Colentina River. The place added to the dark gothic theme of the series and complimented it well.
