Dove Cameron appeared for an interview with The Wrap and said that she auditioned for the role of Glinda in ‘Wicked.’ She mentioned that the process is not so easy and it was one of the longest ones she ever participated in over the years.
But Cameron is not heartbroken about Grande’s casting and she is also waiting like everyone else to witness the big-budget movie on the silver screen. She said, “I’m so excited for Ariana. She’s a genuinely dear friend of mine. We met when we were super young. I think she’s gonna kill it. I think the whole cast is phenomenal, head to toe. So, like, as a fan, I’m really, really excited to see it.”

‘Wicked’ Is An Adaptation Of A 2003 Musical
‘Wicked’ is being helmed by Jon M. Chu and is scheduled for release on November 27, 2024. The film entered development in 2012 but it was delayed for several reasons including the Covid-19 pandemic. The basic storyline will focus on a woman with green skin framed by the Wizard of Oz. She later gains recognition as the Wicked Witch of the West.
