The ‘Juice’ singer Lizzo has always charmed the world with her lively personality and her bold takes. On the other heart with catchy beats and heart-touching lyrics, Lizzo’s music is simple but heart-warming. However, the singer is being sued by her former dancers for sexual harassment and creating an abusive work environment.
The complaint against Lizzo was filed in the Los Angeles Supreme Court by Crystal Williams, Arianna Davis, and Noelle Rodriguez. Along with Lizzo, the trio also sued Lizzo’s Big Grrrl Big Touring production company and the dance captain Shirlene Quigley. Here’s more about the accusations made by the former dancers.

Lizzo Sued For Sexual Harassment
The former dancers, Crystal Williams, Arianna Davis, and Noelle Rodriguez sued Lizzo and her company after being sexually harassed, and weight shamed. As per the complaints, the ‘About Damn Time’ singer had arranged for the dance crew to visit a Red Light District when in Amsterdam. The artist made them uncomfortable as she asked them to “take turns to touch nude performers” and chided Davis for refusing to do so. It says that Lizzo also asked one of her security guards to pull down his pants while on stage, during the outing back in February.
The complaints also accused the dance captain Shirlene Quigley. The dance captain would preach about her Christian views. Also, overshare “luridly detailed stories about her masturbatory habits and sexual fantasies“. Quigley would also “occasionally take breaks to publicly practice her oral sex skills on bananas” in front of the crew.

The suit pointed out that Lizzo and the choreographer had “thinly veiled concerns” regarding Davis’ weight gain. It made her feel that they wanted her to explain her weight gain. Things started to go downhill as the ‘Truth Hurts’ accused the crew of drinking before their performance. They have to undergo “excruciating” re-auditions without any break. Challenging the artist on these issues, led to Williams being fired which was said to be due to budget cuts.
Davis was also dismissed after a meeting where Lizzo talked about one of the crews recording the rehearsal. As per the suit, Davis suffers from an eye condition that leaves her disoriented in stressful situations. Davis was chided in front of the crew and let go. Noelle Rodriguez resigned after she pointed out it was wrong to let go of Davis. The popstar seemingly balled her fists at the dancer and Noelle feared physical confrontation. The singer has not responded to the complaint, as of now.
